Collwood Apartments
San Diego, CA
New four-story, high-density, wood frame multi-family project with 260 dwellings units in four buildings wrapped around a mechanically ventilated six-level parking garage. Amenities include a 6,200-SF clubhouse and pool courtyard. JSE worked closely with the Owner’s solar power consultant to integrate a roof-mounted photovoltaic array to achieve an estimated 30% reduction in electrical energy consumption from the utility company. Aqua-Therm space heating is being used in the dwelling units for additional energy savings. This project is LEED NC and LEED Silver Certified.
