In his role as Principal and MEP Technical Director, Chris manages the firm’s corporate design practices. He brings more than 25 years of experience in mechanical engineering, along with 11 years of hands-on mechanical system installation experience, providing him with a well-rounded perspective that balances design efficiency with installation practicality.
As a Professional Registered Engineer in twelve states and a LEED Accredited Professional, Chris provides technical oversight across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. His project experience spans a wide range of markets, including residential developments, commercial office buildings, K–12 schools, hotels, industrial facilities, and assisted living communities.
In addition to his project leadership responsibilities, Chris provides company-wide quality control and quality assurance, including leadership related to legal and risk management needs. He plays a key role in responding to code and design inquiries, maintaining discipline design manuals, and managing and enforcing firmwide design practices and policies. Chris also leads the annual review and update of Jordan & Skala’s technical standards, ensuring consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement across all offices.
Through his leadership and commitment to technical excellence, Chris ensures clients receive high-quality, coordinated, and functional designs, and he is widely respected within Jordan & Skala Engineers and the engineering consulting industry.
