Khalid El Hefni began his career in mechanical engineering while earning his degree from The University of Texas at Arlington. Shortly after graduation, he joined Jordan & Skala Engineers as a Mechanical Designer. He now serves as a Senior Associate and a Team Leader in our Dallas office.

In his role, Khalid oversees the coordination and delivery of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design disciplines. He provides strategic leadership across teams to ensure that systems are seamlessly integrated, code-compliant, and aligned with client goals and project requirements. Khalid is also instrumental in mentoring staff, fostering collaboration among disciplines, and upholding the firm’s commitment to technical excellence.

Khalid continues to be a trusted resource for both clients and colleagues. Throughout his tenure at Jordan & Skala, he has contributed to a wide range of projects across multiple sectors—including Multi-Family, Commercial, and Retail—earning recognition for his dedication to delivering functional, efficient, and well-coordinated designs.
