Brian Taylor has been in the consulting-engineering industry for over 15 years. He has always been fascinated by the rapidly changing state of technology, and low voltage consulting allows him to combine this passion for technology with his love of architecture.

As Principal and Director of Low Voltage at Jordan & Skala Engineers, Brian leads and grows our Low Voltage department, providing strategic direction and oversight for communications, security, A/V, and life safety systems design across our offices nationwide. In his leadership role, his focus is on business development, client partnerships, project execution, proposal strategy, and team mentorship. Brian collaborates closely with Marketing and Accounting, to help drive brand visibility, operational efficiency, and financial performance for Jordan & Skala’s Low Voltage discipline.

He guides department standards, specifications, and vendor relationships to ensure consistency, scalability, and technical excellence while supporting sustained growth. He remains engaged in BIM strategy and implementation, ensuring our department leverages evolving Revit standards, workflows, and training.
