15-story, 365,000-SF office tower that is part of the Third Ward, a mixed-use block development of residential, retail, and hotel.
440 South Church includes four full service restaurants, two coffee shops, sundries, full service hotel and a car valet service. The project was design-build and required LEED templates applicable to the mechanical systems be submitted to LEED online. Design included dual flush water closets, 14% better energy performance than ASHRAE-90.1-2004 and utilized an enthalpy wheel for free cooling. The project was awarded LEED Gold certification.
