Challenging the traditional sit-down restaurant layout, The Shacks at Austin Ranch brings a welcomed recreational retail development to the North Dallas area. The project included the addition of three new restaurant buildings, all housing popular local tenants such as Tackle Box, Dirty Burger, and Ten Ramen. Each building is approximately 1,418 SF and shares a large outdoor patio overlooking a public dog park.
In addition to being surrounded by large oak trees and nature, The Shacks is an exciting add-on to Billingsley’s existing 1,700-acre mixed-use development, Austin Ranch, that also encompasses upscale apartment and commercial office areas.
Jordan & Skala provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design services for the cold-shell retail design of the three buildings as well as the tenant improvement design for the Ten Ramen space.
