Samuel Weaver brings over 19 years of design experience to Jordan & Skala Engineers. He joined the firm in 2015 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer supporting the Mid-Atlantic offices in Charlotte, NC and Washington, DC. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in five states, and as the Mid-Atlantic Principal, Samuel utilizes his experience to support our clients in the Mid-Atlantic region. In his current role, Sam leads our Mid-Atlantic MEP team and enforces our design and QA/QC processes. He serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and responsiveness throughout each phase of a project.

Sam is motivated by the opportunity to design a fully functioning design solution from start to finish. He has managed and designed a wide range of projects including commercial office buildings, hotels, law firms, upscale retail spaces, multi-family complexes, churches, country clubs, schools, warehouse, and historic renovation projects. Sam is familiar with numerous sustainability programs including LEED BD+C, LEED for Homes, EarthCraft, Energy Star, and NGBS; he has designed many projects that have achieved Gold certification under their respective sustainability programs. An energy-minded mechanical engineer, Sam realizes that quality designs must fit within the client’s budget and schedule. Sam collaborates with the entire design team to devise the most energy efficient solutions for his projects and clients. Sam works with the design team and ownership to ensure that the project moves smoothly towards completion.
