For the 25th consecutive year, Jordan & Skala Engineers has been recognized on the 2026 MEP Giants list by Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine. This year also marks another exciting achievement for our firm, with JSE landing on the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Largest Engineering Firms list ranked by the 2025 Atlanta gross engineering billings. Together, these recognitions reflect the strength of our team and the work we deliver for our clients over the years.
The 2026 MEP Giants report, based on data from the 2025 fiscal year, reflects continued growth across the engineering industry. Combined gross revenue among the mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and fire protection firms increased from approximately $73.79 billion in 2024 to $98 billion in 2025. MEP design revenue also climbed from $15.02 billion to $19.18 billion, marking a 27.7% increase from the previous year.
The report points to continued growth across the industry, with firms responding to sustained demand and a rapidly changing built environment. Electrification, resilience, sustainability, and digital connectivity are shaping how buildings are designed and engineered, while advanced digital tools and data-driven strategies are becoming increasingly important. These trends align with the work our team is doing across our MEP, Sustainability, and Low Voltage services, helping clients navigate new demands and opportunities across a wide range of building types.
Our recognition on the MEP Giants list for 25 consecutive years, along with our ranking among Atlanta’s largest engineering firms, is a reflection of the people behind the work. Their technical knowledge, problem-solving, and dedication continue to move us forward as we explore new technologies, advance our engineering solutions, and help shape what’s next for our industry.
