Charlotte, North Carolina is about to have a new, 24-story apartment tower grace its skyline. SkyHouse Charlotte, a development created by Atlanta-based Novare Group, Grubb Properties and Batson-Cook Development Co., is the sixth SkyHouse project Jordan & Skala has provided MEP design and energy consulting services for. The 336 unit luxury residential high-rise apartment building is being designed to become one of the first multi-family high-rise buildings in the Southern US as well as the State of North Carolina to be Energy Star certified. Energy Star is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy.
